🏫 About SSR Medical College

SSR Medical College (Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Medical College) is the first medical college in Mauritius, established in 1999 and located in Belle Rive near Curepipe. It was founded by the Indian Ocean Medical Institute Trust (IOMIT) in memory of Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam, the founding father of Mauritius.

The college is affiliated with the University of Mauritius, which awards the MBBS degree.
